FAQ

Is it beginner-friendly?
Yes. We teach rules at the table, start with simple formats and help with shuffling, turn steps and card reading.
Do we need to bring a deck?
Bring one if you have it. If not, we have a small pool of learner decks to borrow (first come, first served).
Are trades allowed?
Yes—fair, staff-overseen swaps only. No cash trades. We can help check card condition and give value guidance before you trade.
What games do you support?
Mainly Pokémon TCG and Disney Lorcana, with beginner-friendly Magic: The Gathering (Jumpstart/Starter). Yu-Gi-Oh! Speed Duel on request.
What’s the age guidance?
Green Star — drop-off allowed. A named adult signs in/out. We seat by confidence/interest rather than strict age.
How long is a session?
Typically 60–90 minutes with short rounds and breaks. Check the event listing for exact times.
What should we bring?
Water bottle, sleeves, a deck box and (optional) a labelled binder for trades. We provide tokens and spare dice/counters.
Accessibility & sensory support?
Yes. Quieter seating, lower volume, larger-print turn aids and slower pacing available—tell us what helps when you book.
