What Is the 16+ Gamer Session Like?

The 16+ Gamer Session is a relaxed evening gaming session for people who want to play, socialise and enjoy a wider mix of games in a more mature setting.

It is designed for older teens and adults who enjoy gaming but also want the social side of being part of a local gaming community.

Come with friends or turn up on your own. There is no need to already know anyone.

The emphasis is on having a good time rather than taking competition too seriously.

More Than Just Sitting at Home Gaming

Gaming is often better when you have people in the room with you.

The 16+ Gamer Session gives local players somewhere to meet regularly, play together and get involved in a gaming community without needing to organise everything themselves.

What is the 16+ Gamer Session?
It is a relaxed evening gaming session for older teens and adults, with multiplayer games, social gaming, friendly competition and the chance to meet other local gamers.
How old do I need to be?
The session has a Purple Star rating and is for people aged 16 and over.
Can I come on my own?
Yes. Solo players are welcome. The session is designed to make it easy to join games and meet other people through a shared interest in gaming.
What games do you play?
The selection can vary from week to week and may include multiplayer console games, racing, fighting, sports, co-op, party games, retro games and friendly competitive challenges.
Is the session competitive?
It can be, but it does not have to be. Friendly tournaments and challenges may take place, while casual players are equally welcome to enjoy relaxed multiplayer gaming.
Do I need to bring my own controller?
No. Gaming equipment is available at KDM Gaming Hub. You are welcome to bring your own labelled controller or headset if you prefer.
When does the 16+ Gamer Session run?
The 16+ Gamer Session normally runs on Saturdays from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Check the KDM Gaming Hub events calendar for current dates and availability.
