What Is the Open Gaming Session Like?

The Open Gaming Session is one of the most flexible ways to enjoy KDM Gaming Hub.

Rather than focusing on one particular game or format, the session gives players the chance to choose from the gaming options available, play with friends, meet other gamers and spend the afternoon enjoying the hub.

It is ideal for families, younger players and anyone who wants a relaxed gaming session without joining a specific club.

What We Play

The exact games available can vary, but Open Gaming Sessions can include a mixture of:

Open Gaming Session is designed for anyone who wants a casual gaming session at KDM Gaming Hub.

The session has a Blue Star rating, which means parents or carers stay during the session.

It can be a good option for younger players, families, friends and anyone looking for a more flexible gaming experience.

When is it?

Saturdays 2PM – 5PM

Come With Friends or Meet Other Players

You can attend with friends or family, but you do not necessarily need to arrive with a full group.

Where appropriate, players can join multiplayer games with others attending the session.

Open Gaming is designed to make it easy to spend time around other people who enjoy gaming without needing to commit to a regular club.

If you have never visited KDM Gaming Hub before, Open Gaming Session is a straightforward way to see what the venue is like.

You can get familiar with the gaming space, try some of the games available and find out more about the other weekly clubs and events.

If you enjoy the session, you can then explore options such as High School Gamer Club, Primary School Gamer Club, RPG Group, Board Game Club or the 16+ sessions.
